I like to think of them as dopamine hits—because they are simple, quick, and easy things we can do to add some sparkle to our everyday.

The simpler, the better.

Dopamine hits might include talking with a close friend, checking items off a to do list, just generally feeling healthy, or lounging in your favorite sweater on your comfy couch with your favorite book.

 
 

These simple activities help us find balance after a day of demands and stress.

Our brains tend to fixate on the negative, and we can forget to bake the good stuff into our days. It’s important to be intentional, and it can even help to plan out your daily dopamine hits. By becoming more intentional in your daily life, you can tackle your everyday stressors, build self-awareness and self-confidence, cultivate a greater sense of agency in your life, and boost your mood.

I’m a social + cultural psychologist, writer, and educator.

I empower women to embrace the art and science of deconstruction so they can step into authentic spirituality and authentic community.

I specialize in integrated psychology, experiential practices, and high-touch immersion experiences.

I’m passionate about female empowerment, life-giving community, and spiritual growth.

I have a Ph.D. in Social Psychology and 14 years of experience teaching psychology and yoga. I’ve been creating courses and curriculum at the collegiate-level since 2007.

I’m also a 500-hour Masters-level yoga instructor and currently hold over 600 hours of yoga certification training.
